Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Finance who will play a business critical role in leading the finance team within the Company. You must be a team player with the ability to inspire and influence across all levels and be a pro-active self-starter with confidence and maturity.

This role reports directly to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Head Office Finance Director and requires a confident person with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, English and Arabic, at all levels.

You will build and lead a finance team and be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and finance function with particular emphasis on financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management, debt management and collection, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements, managing the audit process, payroll. 

You will also provide a complete, timely and accurate monthly financial reporting function to Head Office, and ensure the integrity of financial, administrative and legal controls throughout the Company’s operations in accordance with Group policy and procedures.



  • Degree in finance and a Qualified accountant with Big 4 experience, +10 years post qualification preferred.
  • Experience working in industry post Big 4 experience a key requirement.
  • Experience in managing and leading a finance team in a high transaction volume, fast paced dynamic environment, partnering with senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in both English and Arabic are a must.
  • Proven record in developing a finance team with a focus on team work, accuracy and excellence.
  • Willingness and ability to take on ad-hoc projects.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Multi-tasker with strong analytical and decision making skills.
  • Experience in the tourism industry a bonus.
