Duties:
 

• Operational duties include coordination with shippers, truckers, shipping lines and agents for the export and import of shipments.

• Maintain high work volume with low errors.

• Handling Import and Export daily operations.

• Keeping good records and documentation.

• Arranging for pick-up or inland transportation.

• Booking and document preparation (bill of lading, invoicing, export declaration, ISF filing, pre-alerts, etc.)

• Ensures food export and import international regulations are followed.

• Compliance with all procedures including third party inspection.

• Follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination and data quality requirement.

• Include maintaining communication with shipper, consignee, carrier and overseas agents throughout the process and choosing proper routing appropriate to the customer's needs.

• Maintain SOP (standard operating procedures) and customer profiles including key contacts, special requirements, contract rates and preferred routings/services/carriers.

• Participate in quotes for overseas agents as requested.

• Immediately report problems, operation disputes or discrepancies to supervisor.

• Meeting client requirements in terms of data input, and general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing.

Job Requirements:

 

• B.Sc. in International Transportation & Logistics, or any other related field
• 5 years' experience in same position in food export & import operation is a must.
• fluent in English language.
• SAP ERP user.
