Our client, a construction company based in Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire 30 Steel Fixers.
 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Steel Fixer to join our construction team. 
 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Cut, bend, and position steel reinforcement in concrete forms
• Secure and tie steel bars in place using appropriate tools and materials
• Ensure the steel framework meets design specifications and safety standards
• Collaborate with site managers and other trades to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Report any issues or discrepancies in the steel work to the supervisor

Requirements:

 

• 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Steel Fixer or in a similar role
• Good knowledge of construction methods and safety procedures
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Physical stamina to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Familiarity with the use of steel bending machines, hand tools, and other relevant equipment
• Valid safety certifications or training is a plus
