Job Summary

About the Role for Lead Cook - Catering Service:


The Lead Cook coordinates and ensures that all meals are prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with standardized recipes. Gulf catering experience required and he should able to do multi cuisine.


•Meet or exceed industry and food safety standards for preparation, storage, and serving of food.

•Prepare meals in accordance with standardized recipes.

•Check food and kitchen supplies; ensure cooking utensils, pans, and other equipment is kept in a clean and sanitary condition.

•Assign cleaning duties as needed.

•Ensure all food preparation and kitchen is cleaned and ready for next shift.

•Record food temperatures, production, and waste on required documentation.

•Perform other duties as assigned.

•Knowledge of food service and sanitation standards.

•Mature in judgment and behavior.

•Ability to consistently arrive punctually and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.

•Perform portioning and garnishing work to ensure aesthetic appeal of each prepared entrée.

•Train assistant and cooks to prepare and cook food items according to recipes.


Education and Experience:


Education: High school or college diploma with field experience in hospitality or travel industry. Education in hospitality will be an added benefit.


Experience: Must have at least one year experience in the hospitality industry. Knowledge of volume production and ability to maintain the highest quality standards at all time.
