Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Logistics Supervisor to play the following roles... 
​​​​​​​

  • Observing All Shipping Plans and giving all the requested reports that related to the Fleet movements and improving the fleet delivery ratio. 
  • Managing all sales dpt. Delivery note issues. 
  •  Arranging sales orders together to meet sales requirements.
  • Supervise logistics, Warehouse, distribution operations
  • Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle
  • Plan and monitor inbound and outgoing deliveries.
  • Keep track of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Organize warehouse, plan routes and process shipments
  • Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost
  • Supervise, coach and train warehouse & logistics workforce
  • Continuously look for improvements to operations
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
  • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
 

Requirements:
 

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or relevant field.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Having strong communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Proven working experience in Procurement & Logistics.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data
  • Excellent in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
