Our Client is a well reputed Catering Company based in Abu Dhabi and is looking for an HSE General Manager to join urgently.
Qualification & Experience:
• Master’s degree in food science / Microbiology or Similar
• 15+ Years work Experience in Large Catering Companies out of which 10+ Years of Managerial experience in QHSE
• Approved Trainer for Food Safety Level 4 / HACCP Level 4 Qualifications
• OSHAD Grade A practitioner and/or Grad IOSH
• In-depth knowledge about various Quality, Food Safety and Hygiene Management programs including GHP, HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, and HALAL; certified as Lead Auditor ISO standards.
• Presentation skills
• Team Building and Management skills
Job Description :
• Providing proactive programs and advice related improving HSEQ performance of the organization in line with client requirements, Legal compliances, and other Industry best practices
• Take Leadership role in developing and Implementing food safety, health Safety and quality management program across the Division
• Provided clear leadership to the Business Unit HSEQ team to ensure the organization delivers relevant, effective support & value to internal functions and external parties
• Ensures the establishment, documentation, and maintenance of the IMS in accordance with the International Standards, Industry Best Practice and Legal requirements
• Conduct Management Review Meetings and review QHSE Performance of the Division.
• Ensures the promotion and awareness of customer and legal requirements throughout the Organization.
• Conducts reviews with concerned departmental personnel regarding development, documentation, and implementation of the IMS in their respective departments as and when required.
• Establishes and maintains the company’s document and record control system.
• Establishes the Internal audit plan.
• Initiates follow up audits to verify audits and record the implementation and effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions taken.
• Take initiative in corporations Sustainability and CSR programs
• Assist Sales team in managing and fine-tuning divisions Technical Submissions
• Manages budget for the department
• Support operations in Training and development of staff regarding Food Safety, Hygiene, Health Safety and Quality Standards
• Lead/Direct Incident investigations and report to Senior Management with the findings and corrective actions
• Support Legal Department in maintaining Company Trade licenses and other licenses and approvals
• Attend client meetings when required and support senior management for resolutions if any
