Our client, a well-established chain of restaurants in Al Khobar, is currently looking to hire Chef - Production Manager
Job Profile :
Position Title Chef – Production Manager
Purpose of Position Responsible for ensuring timely production of products, quality according to required standards and production plan, quality control, and adherence to all food safety regulations.
Main Responsibilities
- Experience in producing French pastries.
- Extensive experience in bakery and confectionery production, including chocolate tempering, molding, and coating techniques.
- Extensive and great experience and complete control over all stages of bakery production, factory management and mass production.
- Preparation of all operations/steps in the bakery department in the kitchen.
- Crafting exceptional varieties of bread and cakes with the ability to innovate new products periodically to keep up with the developments in the Saudi market and attract more customers.
- Monitoring and supervising the bakery production line from the initial stage to the final production stage, with the ability to provide alternatives in case of raw material unavailability.
- Attendance at all staff meetings in the kitchen, particularly performance evaluation meetings, and proposing any development for the benefit of production and products.
- Monitoring the expiration dates of raw materials in the kitchen, ensuring their validity, and disposing of expired items after consulting the Operations Manager.
- Inventory monitoring and identifying shortages of materials, such as flour and sugar, issuing purchase orders for missing items in the inventory 10 days before depletion.
- Responsible for printing production dates and expiry dates of prepared products in the kitchen. - Adjusting the temperature of all equipment in the kitchen to maintain the quality standards of the final products.
- Experience in estimating production costs at various stages and familiarity with the correct weights of pastries and baked goods, as well as other manufacturing stages.
- Direct responsibility for the equipment and tools used in the kitchen, supervising their cleanliness, maintenance, and reporting any faults to the operations department manager.
- Adherence to all safety standards applicable to the operations team.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft programs.
Competencies:
- Must have the ability to work with all modern kitchen appliances and equipment.
- Should also have extensive experience regarding food safety procedures.
- Must possess creative ability in producing and innovating new baked
goods.
- Additionally, should be detail-oriented, skilled in communication, and capable of managing a team effectively.
- Must be flexible in work and able to work on holidays.

5+ Years Preferable F&B industry & mass production
