Job Summary
Job Description:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, workstations, and seating areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as needed.
- Handle cash, process payments, and manage point-of-sale transactions accurately.
- Educate customers about menu offerings, coffee origins, and brewing methods.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations and resolve any customer concerns promptly.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Willingness to learn about coffee preparation and café operations.
