Job Summary


Our client, a multinational catering company, is seeking a Bakery Chef with more than 10 years of experience.
 

Job Description:

  • Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
 
  • Ensure all bakery products meet quality, freshness, and presentation standards before serving or display.
 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
 
  • Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, and communicate needs for restocking.
 
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
 
  • Experiment with new recipes and techniques to expand the bakery’s product offerings.
 
  • Train and mentor junior staff or apprentices in baking techniques and safety procedures.
 
  • Adhere to portion control and waste management practices to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
 
  • Receive and inspect deliveries of bakery ingredients to ensure quality and freshness.
 
  • Assist in planning and executing special orders, seasonal menus, and promotional events.

 

Job Requirements:

 
  • Minimum of 10 year of professional experience as a bakery chef, pastry chef, or similar role.
 
  • Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and baking procedures accurately.
 
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards in a bakery environment.
 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site kitchen setting.
 
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
 
  • Attention to detail in both preparation and presentation of baked goods.
 
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and management.
 
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
 
  • Commitment to upholding client's standards for quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.
